24-hours medical services in Tirumala

TTD (Thirumalai Tirupathi Devasthanam) Board has decided to provide 24-hours medical services facility in the waiting halls (where the devotees wait for a Darshan of Lord Venkateswara).
The devotees coming to have a Darshan of Lord Venkateswara have to wait for many hours in the waiting halls. During the waiting hours, there are possibilities for diabetics and high-blood-pressure patients may get affected. So, medical services were started in the waiting halls.
However, due to a shortage of availability of doctors and nurses these medical services were not operating throughout the day and night.
Keeping the main purpose of providing all right facilities for the devotees, TTD has now taken the decision to deploy a team of 1 doctor, 2 nurses, and 1 para-medical staff for 24 hours in each medical service centre.
Henceforth, all the medical centres in the waiting halls will be open for 24-hours a day. Expensive medicines are kept in ready stock.
