Google launched the Family Link app yesterday. Parents can make use of the app for monitoring smartphones of their children.
This app is intended to benefit parents of children aging below 13 years of age. They can create a user account for their kids on this app. This account can be linked with the parents’ account. With this enabling, parents will be able to approve or disapprove mobile apps on Google Play Store.
Parents can also get control over the usage of device and screen time. They can set daily limits and remotely control locking, and prevent late night usage.
Google makes the app available through Family Link program. Interested parents can send an invitation. Android 7 Nougat and up is essential for installing the app.
