As per the existing procedure, the pensioners have to go in person to present themselves in the district treasuries or sub-treasuries as a proof of being alive to receive the monthly pension. Those who cannot come in person will have to obtain a certificate for being alive and send it as proof to treasury offices.

Until now, the pensioners who have not submitted their particulars regarding Aadhar card, PAN for the Income Tax, and Family Card, needed to submit copies of the same to the treasury office mentioning the EPO (Pension Number). When visiting the concerned office to draw the pension, they had to carry the pension book and savings bank account number.
The pensioners who are not in a position to visit the treasury office have to send the copies of the pension book, bank savings account number, Aadahr card, PAN card, and Family card also with proof of being alive. The certificate for proof of living can be downloaded from the website:

After downloading, the details have to be filled up and this certificate is to be attested by any one of the following persons - the branch manager where the savings account is kept. Further, the family pensioners (both those visiting in person and those who are not in a position to make the personal visit) need to submit the promise that they have not remarried.
