Only 2 days left for applying to write TET (Teachers Eligibility Test)

Only 2 more days are left for applying to write TET (Teachers Eligibility Test) which is required to get appointments as school teachers.

As per the compulsory right for education act of the central and state governments, from the year 2011, the candidates who are interested in working as teachers in government or private sector schools in Tamil Nadu, they must have passed TET conducted by the Tamil Nadu State government or CTET conducted by the central government.

As there was a court enquiry in the case of the assessment of marks in the TET (Teachers Eligibility Test), TET was not conducted in the state of Tamil Nadu during the past 3 years. As this case came to and a few months ago, now, the dates for TET have been announced again by the Tamil Nadu government.

TET for the secondary grade teachers is scheduled on 29th April. For graduate teachers, TET is scheduled on 30th April. The Teachers recruitment Board (TRB) announced this schedule on 24th February. The task of distributing applications for writing TET started on 6th March and will be over by 22nd March.

The properly filled applications must be submitted before 5 PM on 23rd March.
