Air India to provide WiFi for commuters

Starting from July this year, Air India commuters can enjoy surfing the web, checking mails and social media posts on domestic flights.
 
The flag carrier in India is eyeing on introducing Wi-Fi services in Airbus A-320. The flight is mostly deployed for domestic needs.
 
Works are on the go to implement Wi-Fi services in our planes. We have also expressed interest and get approval from the manufacturer for installing the necessary Wi-Fi equipment. It is not possible to give the precise date of implementing the service. By June or July, the service will be made available, said Air India chief Ashwani Lohani.
