The Supreme Court has ordered that extended time to be given until 5th April for applying to write NEET.
The central government has made a pass in the NEET (National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test) compulsory to get admission in all the government and private sector the medical colleges and universities throughout the country.
It was announced earlier that application for writing has to be made online -
www.cbseneet.nic.in. The online application facility started on 31st January. It was also announced that NEET will be conducted on 7th May. The last date for applying online was fixed as 1st March.
NEET will be conducted in over 800 centres all over India. In this scenario, the case regarding NEET was taken up for enquiry in the Supreme Court. After the enquiry, the Supreme Court ordered an extension of time until 5th April for the candidates to apply for writing NEET.
This is a good opportunity for the students who delayed applying. The maximum age limit for writing NEET is fixed at 25 years. It may also be noted that Aadhar Card was made compulsory to apply for NEET.
