Ooty flower show from 19th May

The regular annual summer festival is celebrated in Ooty (Nilgiri district) from 6th May to 31st May. The flower show starts on 19th May.
The summer festival to start with the vegetable exhibition at the Kotagiri Nehru Park from 6th May.
On behalf of the District Forest Department, a photo exhibition is conducted from 7th May to 31st May at the Botanical Commercial Complex in Charing Cross, Ooty.
An exhibition on scents and perfumes will be held at Gudalur from 12th May to 14th May. An exhibition of rose flowers will be held at the Government Rose Park on 13th and 14th May.
The boat race competition will be held on 16th May at the Ooty Lake.
The most important event of the summer festival, the Flower Show, will be held at the Ooty Government Botanical Park from 19th May to 21st May.
A fruit exhibition will be held at SIMS park, Coonoor, on 27th and 28th May.
On the occasion of the summer festival, special programmes like Bharathanatyam and village folk art programmes will be organised at the Ancient Tribes Cultural Centre.
Special buses will be operated by the Tamil Nadu Transport Corporation from 14th April to facilitate the tourists for sightseeing tours such as Doddabetta Mountain Peak, Government Botanical Gardens, Rose flower Park, Boat house, etc.
