The Chennai High Court has declared that the re-registration of plots/lands is bound by the final court verdict.
The Chennai High Court had ordered a ban on sales of unapproved plots/lands during last September.
However, a special bench, headed by the Chief Justice in charge Huluvadi G. Ramesh, allowed the re-registration of plots/lands sold before 20th October which had been registered earlier.
A copy of this order was released today (Tuesday, 11th April). Accordingly, as per the Government order during October 2016, the re-registration of the lands/plots is bound by the final verdict given by the Chennai High Court.
It may be noted here that in case the final verdict declares the re-registration as invalid, all the re-registration document would become invalid
