Aircel to waive off roaming charges for incoming calls

Leading mobile network operator Aircel, in its announcement made yesterday said that all incoming calls will be made free on national roaming.
This cannot be made an automatic process. Customers need to manually opt for it. For activating free incoming calls on Aircel network, users should dial *121*909#. The company announcement states that its users can get free incoming calls with no extra charges of any kind.
Anupam Vasudev, the Chief Marketing Officer of Aircel said that many customers travel to and fro their native. They travel to meet their friends or family members or enjoy holiday during summer. We are excited about announcing the free incoming call offer for all roaming calls made within the network. This will aid customers in connecting with friends and family seamlessly and talk for hours together with their loved ones, regardless of where they are. Customers should not just enjoy economic benefits, but enjoy being in the network too.
Amidst a time when there are aggressively priced plans and offers announced by Jio, the other networks are left with no choice than to offer similar benefits. To note, Aircel’s free roaming incoming call charge follows that of Airtel and Idea Cellular both of which announced stoppage of charges for incoming calls during roaming within India.
