Vacancies list under RTE Act is out

The Tamil Nadu School Education Department has announced the list of vacancies in private matriculation schools under Right to Education Act.
According to the centre’s Right to Education act, 25 percent of seats in class 1 of private schools need to be allotted for students from poor background.
The Tamil Nadu government will bear the fees for educating these children. Accordingly, LKG and 1st standard admission under RTE is likely to take place for the forthcoming academic year.
Admission under RTE will take place through online means this year. Applications can be submitted between 20th April and 18th May. Following this, students admission will take place through lucky draw.
About 1.26 lakh vacancies in 9000 schools are selected for the same. The school education department has announced the list of school wise vacancies.
