Delta ID Inc. is a consumer grade iris scanning technology provider. It offers the technology to all mobile devices. The company had requested introduction of iris integrated mobile phones and claims this as a cost-effective method to bring down mistakes on Aadhar biometric authentication.
Delta ID sources state that the troubles of Aadhar biometric authentication can be addressed with the use of iris integrated smartphones and tablets. According to the UIDAI and worldwide biometric community, Iris is a better option with increased reliability. The failure rates will come down drastically when these affordable iris integrated mobile devices come to use, said Salil Prabhakar, the President and CEO of Delta ID Inc.
