Rain likely in Tamil Nadu

In another two days, the impact of hot sun will substantially reduce, say sources from the meteorological department. Following this, rainfall is likely, they add too.
Across Tamil Nadu, sun rays are badly affecting the people. Due to lapse of rainfall, people have fallen trap for severe drought condition. In most districts, the temperature is above 100 degrees. In Vellore, maximum temperature of 110 degree is recorded. While this is the scenario in Tamil Nadu, in the next 2 days, there will be drastic reduction in heat, say meteorological department officials.
On behalf of meteorological department, it was announced that 18 districts in Tamil Nadu will experience severe heat. Due to low pressure, the moisture in air has reduced and there is hot wind blow. This will continue only till tomorrow. Due to heat convection, a few places are likely to receive rain showers.
