TRB (Teachers Recruitment Board) has released the list of the successful candidates in the last conducted TET (Teachers Eligibility Test) to be filled up in the vacant 1114 posts of graduate teachers on their official website on the internet.
TET for this year is scheduled for 2 days today (29th April) and tomorrow (30th April).
It must be mentioned that there are many candidates who have passed in the previous TET tests conducted in 2012, 2013, and 2014 are remaining jobless still. It is understood that these candidates were affected by the weightage system in assessment and appointment.
They have been consistently demanding that they should be given the appointment orders on top priority and only after this, the new successful candidates should be considered for appointments.
In this situation, TRB has taken the decision to issue appointment orders to the successful candidates from previous TET who are still jobless to fill up the 1114 vacant posts of graduate teachers.
The 1114 vacancies are in the department of school education, department of primary education, department of social security, and RMSA (Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan). TRB has released the list of subject-wise vacancies. The majority of vacancies are for the subjects of Geography, History, and Tamil. It is also observed that the vacancies reserved for SC/ST, Backward Community (Muslim) are more.
The list prepared according to department-wise and reserved quota-wise vacancies has been released in TRB official website:

For these appointments, there is no necessity for the successful candidates in TET to apply fresh. The list of the successful candidates from previous TETs is already available in TRB.
The candidates who had been selected earlier and failed to join after the appointment have to apply before 10th May. The application form for this can be downloaded from TRB website.
The qualified applicants will be called for document verification. Once this is completed, a merit list will be prepared bases on the weightage system and the list of selected candidates would be announced.
