There are over 570 engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu. This figure includes Anna University colleges, government and government-aided engineering colleges, and private self-financed colleges.
2 Lakh seats are on offer for B.E. and B.Tech. courses offered by the above institutions and these are filled up by general counseling conducted by Anna University. +2 results are to be released on 12th May.
Anna University had already announced that the applications to join the above courses may be sent online from 1st May until 31st May.
Accordingly, the facility to apply for B.E and B.Tech. courses online will be available from today (Monday, 1st May). This report can be seen in the official website of Anna University -

There are 12 more days for the release of +2 results. If the students fill in all the particulars except the mark details in this waiting period, it will be easier and quicker for the students to complete the balance as soon as the get the mark details and apply online.
After filling up all data including the marks, a printout of the filled application has to be taken. Attach all the requisite proofs/copies of certificates and submit either in person or by post to Anna University.
