Right during the first weekend of its release, the film Baahubali 2 The Conclusion has set new benchmark in the Indian cinema. The flick has collected whopping Rs 450 crore of collection, according to reports.
The total budget of the flick is Rs 250 crore. This has hit over 9000 screens across the world of which 6000 are in India.
On the first two days, the total collection was Rs 222 crore, surpassing Raees which collected Rs 129 crore, Khaidi No. 150 that collected Rs 120 crore, Badrinath Ki Dulhaia that collected Rs 114 crore.
The prequel Baahubali The Beginning had collected Rs 650 crore with its release in July 2015.
Baahubali 2 is now shattering records. It will very soon become the first ever Indian movie to earn the highest within just one week of release, surpassing records by PK by Aamir Khan that had earned Rs 792 crore across the world.
The film directed by S.S. Rajamouli has Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Sathyaraj, Anushka, Tamannah, and Nasser playing the key roles. Filmmaker Karan Johar is presenting the Hindi version under his Dharma Productions.
As per reviews on media platforms, the sequel is even more grandeur and extravagant than the prequel. There are incredible visual effects, high voltage drama, amazing fight sequences and very strong plot of the film.
