Counselling for engineering and technology admission with SRM University will begin on 14th May. The counselling venue is Kattankulathur campus, and off campus centres located in Amaravati and Haryana.
The University’s entrance exam for undergraduate and postgraduate courses that took place between 1st April and 1st May saw participation by 1,68,527 candidates.
A recent release from the university states that B.Tech and M.Tech are based on ranking system. On 2nd May, the results and counselling schedule was officially announced at the university website. On 14th May, the counselling for B.Tech will begin, and this will continue until 22nd May. For M.Tech, counselling will be carried out until 23rd May.
Rank cards and counselling call letters can be downloaded from the university website. Candidates who have scored between 10,001 and 70,000 will receive call for counselling on subsequent dates. Based on the ranking scored in entrance exam, on the first day of counselling, Founder’s scholarship will be awarded.
Call for candidates who have scored ranks between 1 and 10,000 will be made for day-1. A university release said that 12.51 percent of overall student count who took up the entrance test are from Tamil Nadu.
