A sudden spate of transfers has been ordered in the department of school education. 14 joint directors and 25 primary education officers have been transferred. 4 district education officers have been given temporary promotions.

The joint director of the state planning directorate C. Usha Rani has been transferred as the joint director of the matriculation schools directorate.
The joint director of the state education research and training council V. Balamurugan is transferred as the joint director of the directorate of education forall and state planning directorate.
Joint director of the directorate of the school education S. Sethuramavarma is transferred as the jointdDirector (Higher grade) of the directorate of the government examinations.
