The director of the state arts college education, Professor J. Manjula, informed that application forms to join arts courses in all government Arts colleges are available and are being distributed.
The filled application forms must be submitted within 10 days of the release of +2 results.
When enquired about the arrangements being made for the new admissions, the director informed that a separate council has been formed in each government arts college and all admissions will be done through these councils. The task of distributing the application forms for admission has already started,
Application Fee: Rs. 48. Last year, this was Rs. 27. The filled applications must be submitted within 10 days of the release of the +2 results. The applicants need not submit different applications for different courses. Only one application will do. The students will be admitted to the transparent counselling system.
Some courses like BBA, B. Com., and BCA may have more demand. Many more students may apply for these courses. In these cases, as a temporary arrangement, the college administration will have to obtain permission from the university which affiliated the college and then increases the number of seats as per the demand.
