1st Day counselling for postgraduate medical courses: 374 candidates gets admission

The counselling for the open community cadre for admission to postgraduate medical courses commenced yesterday (Tuesday, 9th May). Invitations had been sent to 401 candidates, including government doctors. However, only 379 candidates participated in the counselling session.

Out of these 379 candidates, 374 candidates received the admission letter to join postgraduate courses. 5 candidates have been kept on the waiting list.

450 candidates have been called for the 2nd day of counselling today (For open community cadre), Wednesday, 10th May.

The counselling for the open community cadre is scheduled till 2.00 PM on 11th May. After that, from the afternoon session on 11th May, counselling postgraduate medical courses on dentistry (MDS) will start.

Subsequently, in the 2nd phase of counselling, the reservation quota seats for the state government in private medical and dentistry colleges and deemed universities will be filled.
