Meteorological centre: Summer rains for the next 2 days

The Chennai Meteorological Centre has informed that summer rains are expected for the next 2 days.
The director of the Chennai Meteorological Centre explained that the climate situation in the ocean areas is conducive to rains in a few places in the state of Tamil Nadu. The winds from east and west meet over the state of Tamil Nadu. So, the clouds gather around and rain occurs in a few places. The summer rain may last for the next 2 days.
There will be heavy rains in the interior districts of South Tamil Nadu and rain with thunder and lightning in a few places.
