Engineering cutoff marks up, Veterinary course cutoff marks down

+2 public examination results were released yesterday (Friday, 12th March). The students pursuing engineering courses can fill up the sections of marks obtained and send it online to Anna University.

Until yesterday, 8075 students have registered their applications.
36556 students have scored 200 out of 200 in Mathematics. This is higher by 295 as compared to the previous year.

187 students have scored 200 out of 200 in Physics. This is higher by 182 as compared to the previous year.

1123 students have scored 200 out of 200 in Chemistry. This is lower by 500 as compared to the previous year.

Thus, there is an improvement in performance in Mathematics and Physics.

Erode educationist explained that there are prospects of the engineering course cutoff marks to go up by 0.25 marks.

Similarly, the performance in Chemistry and Zoology has gone down with a lesser number of students scoring 200 out of 200. Due to this, the cutoff marks for the agricultural and veterinary courses may go down by 1 mark.
