Egg price up at Rs. 4.13 per piece

With the scorching summer in progress, the egg production in Namakkal region has gone down. Consequently, egg prices have gone up for Rs. 4.13 per piece.
Egg price is on an increasing trend in Namakkal region. In this scenario, the Namakkal Region National Egg Pice fixing Authority has increased the price of an egg by 3 paise and fixed the egg price at Rs. 4.13 a piece.
The egg price has gone up to other factors such as the price increase of vegetables and less arrival of fish in Tamil Nadu. So, the poultry owners informed that the price of egg has been increasing continuously.
A kg of egg-laying hens is sold at Rs. 77 and a kg of cut meat of chicken.hens is sold at Rs. 85 per kg.
The price details of egg in other regions per piece in Paise: Hyderabad - 372, Vijayawada - 353, Parwala - 334, Mumbai - 419, Mysore - 421, Bengaluru - 415, and Kolkata - 417.
