Online application for engineering courses: Last date is 31st May

The number of applications received online for admission to engineering courses crossed 80000. The last date for sending the application is 31st May.
There are 571 engineering colleges in the state of Tamil Nadu. Around 2 lakhs seats offered by these colleges for the B. E. or B. Tech. Courses are filled up through general counselling conducted by Anna University.
The online application facility for joining this year`s course commenced on 1st May. 4786 students applied online on the 1st day itself.
As on Sunday (14th May), 14 dys having been completed since the commencement of online application facility, 77410 students have applied.
The secretary of the Tamil Nadu Engineering Courses Admission, Ms. Indhumathi, informed that the number of applications received online has crossed 80000. The last date for applying online is 31st May.
Anna University has already informed that all the applicants need to take a printout of applications made online, attach all the requisite copies of documents/certificates and submit to Anna University before 3rd June.
