Job opportunities for temporary drivers & conductors

With the ongoing strike by the employees of all state transport corporations, an announcement has been released by the Chennai Metro Transport Corporation for appointments for the posts of drivers and conductors on a temporary daily wages basis.
Subsequent to the strike of the transport corporation employees, the transport department officials of several district including Chennai and Thiruvallur are earnestly engaged in appointing drivers/conductors on a temporary basis in order to operate the buses.
Interested candidates holding driver licence and conductor licence may directly approach the branch manager of the nearest branch of the MTC with their original certificates/licences to work on a temporary daily wages basis. Appointments will be given based on qualifications.
