A new Bill, which removes the necessity for H1B Visas, for job seekers who had completed Ph.D. in the USA, has been tabled in the House of Representatives.

American MPs Eric Paulson and Mike Quigley introduced this bill which is called STAPLE Act.

This Bill, STAPLE, has been framed in such a way so as to prevent the scholars who have completed Ph.D. in the USA from leaving the country.

Eric Paulson explained that academic experts from all over the world come to the USA for pursuing higher studies. Measures have to be taken to ensure that knowledge bears the fruit for the American Economic Growth.

When this is bill is implemented, the foreigners who completed Ph.D. in the USA will be exempted from H1B Visa requirement.

As there are a reasonable number of Indians among the scholars who pursue Ph. D. in the USA, this bill is considered to be highly favourable to the Indians.
