Prospects of rain in the evenings and nights in Chennai

The Chennai Meteorological Centre has informed that there are prospects of rain in the evenings and nights in Chennai Metro.
Southwest monsoon season rains have crossed Tamil Nadu and intensified towards the northern states of India.
Because of this, the intensity of heat has increased in many places in Tamil Nadu including Chennai, However, since yesterday (Monday, 19th June), heat level has reduced.
It rained heavily yesterday in Perungalathur, Tambaram, Velachery, Sholinganallur, Guindy, Nanganallur, and surrounding areas.
The maximum temperature in Chennai Metro will come down to 35 Degrees Celsius. It may drizzle during the evenings and nights.
It is also forecast that there are prospects of rain with thunder in a few places in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
