Starting from 1st July, BSNL will be providing 6 times more data for the existing postpaid plans, as a move to cater to the competition among private telecom firms.
After introducing attractive plans for prepaid customers, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd has now decided to offer 6 times more data for all of its existing postpaid plans starting from 1st July.
With the plan-99, users get 250 MB of data, whereas there was no data offered earlier. With plan-225, users get 1GB data instead of the earlier 200 MB data. Likewise, under plan-799, users get 10 GB instead of earlier 3GB. Unlimited video calling also comes with it.
The director of BSNL Board, R K Mittal said the telecom is offering affordable and eminent services for all their customers. Customers get value for money in all the plans with them, he added.
All the private operators are eyeing on retaining their customer base to catch up in the fierce tariff war prevalent in the Indian telecom market. India holds the pride of having the world’s second largest subscriber base crossing more than a billion customers.
The aggressive stance of Reliance has cornered the other telecom operators including that of large ones to introduce innovative offers.
