Aadhar card made compulsory for many services from today (1st July). The changes are.
- Income Tax returns cannot be filed without Aadhar card.
- PAN card cannot be procured without Aadhar card.
- One cannot apply for a passport without Aadhar card.
- Linking Aadhar card with Provident Fund becomes compulsory from today (1st July)
- Aadhar card is required to avail train ticket fare concessions.
- Scholarships will not be given to the students who have not submitted their Aadhar card details.
- Aadhar card must be linked to family ration card in order to get the essential food items.
- While flying, one need not fill up the departure form anymore. He/she can show the Aadhar card and save time.
