IBPS (Institute of Banking Personnel Selection) looks after the testing and recruitment of employees for the banking sector.
IBPS has now announced the CWE - 6 written examination for the selection of Office Assistants and Officers in the RRB (Regional Rural Banks).
With this test, the posts of Office Assistants and Officers (Scale – 1, 2, and 3) will be filled up in 56 Rural Banks.
It has been announced that tentatively, 14192 posts will be filled up. Out of this, there are 7374 posts for Office Assistants.
Age Limit - The candidates must be in the age group 18-25 for Office Assistants. They must be in the age group 18-30 for Officer (Scale 1). Candidates must be under 32 years of age for Officers (Scale -2). The candidates must be under 40 years of age for Officers (Scale 3). Age will be calculated on the basis of 1st July 2017. Age concessions are given as per the government rules and regulations.
Academic qualifications - For the posts Office Assistants and Officer (Scale -1), the candidates must be graduates in any faculty. For the posts of Officer (Scale – 2), the candidates must be a graduate with a minimum of 50% marks and 2 years experience. For the posts of Officer (Scale 3), the candidates must be graduates with a minimum 50% marks and must have an experience for 5 years.
Candidates who are graduates in Electronics, Communication, Computer Science, Information Technology, and other Engineering Curses and candidates who have completed C. A. (Chartered Accountancy), or Law and having related experience may also apply for the posts of Officers.
Selection Process - Mark cards will be given to the candidates based on the performance in the written test and interview. The written test will be conducted in 2 stages – Preliminary Test and the Main test.
Application Fees - SC/ST/Differently-ables/ex-military personnel have to pay Rs. 100. Others have to pay Rs. 600.
Applying procedure - Eligible and interested candidates may apply online. Applying online commences on 12th July 2017. The last date for applying – 1st August 2017.
