Service charges for online train reservation withdrawn till September

Indian Railways have withdrawn the service charges to be paid for online train ticket booking till September.
As per the central government policy to encourage cashless transactions, IRCTC (Indian Railways Catering and Tourism Corporation) had earlier cancelled the service charges for online train ticket booking till 30th June.
In this situation, Indian Railways have taken a decision to keep the online train ticket booking without any service charges until September.
IRCTC has informed that this measure of withdrawing the service charges would incur a loss of up to Rs. 500 Crore per year.
