Prospects of heavy rain in Tamil Nadu today

The Chennai Meteorological Centre has informed that there are prospects of heavy rain in a few places in North and South Tamil Nadu today (12th July) due to the formation of a thermal convection.
In Chennai sky condition likely to be mostly cloudy. There are prospects of rain in Chennai city and the surrounding areas in the evening or night.
