The low pressure zone over the Bay of Bengal crosses the coast cyclone warning withdrawn

The low-pressure zone, which had formed over the Bay of Bengal intensified and moved towards the west and crossed the coast between Gopalpur and Puri in the state of Odisha. So the warning for the imminent cyclone set up in the coasts has been withdrawn.

As the cyclone moves towards north-west direction at a speed of 45 to 50 km per hour, there is the likelihood of strong winds blowing in the northern region of Tamil Nadu.

Because of this, the cyclone warning No.#1 Cones which were put up in the ports of Ennore, Pamban, Puducherry, and Cuddalore, It was also announced that there would be heavy rains in the states of Andhra and Telangana and mild rains in the states of Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.

In this situation, the depression zone formed over the Bay of Bengal moved westwards and crossed the coast between Gopalpur and Puri. Hence, the cyclone warning signals which were put up in the ports of Ennore, Puducherry etc., has been withdrawn.
