Sensex recovers by 174 points

In the opening trade on Wednesday, BSE Sensex has recovered 174 points on fresh buying by investors following reports by Hindustan Lever.
 
The 30-share index that got retreated from plunging 363.79 points during last session, and rebounded 174.18 points or 0.54% to 31,885.17.
 
Likewise, the broader NSE Nifty is traded at 43.45 points or 0.44 percent at 9,870.60.
 
After FMCG major Hindustan Unilever, the buying activity has emerged and posed 9.28 percent uptick in standalone net profit of Rs 1,283 crore during the first quarter that got ended in 30th June. Early in trade, there was increase in shares of Hindustan Unilever up to 3.18 percent.
