Prospects of rain in a few places in Tami Nadu

The Chennai Meteorological Centre has informed that due to the recent formation of a thermal convection in the atmosphere, there are prospects of rain with thunder in a few places in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.

The Chennai Metro city will remain partly cloudy. It may rain in the evening or night.
