Central govt may extend deadline to link Aadhar card with PAN card

A news is gathered that the central government might take a decision to extend the deadline to link Aadhar card with PAN Card.
31st July is the last day to file Income Tax returns.
However, there are a lot of complaints regarding some practical issues in linking Aadhar card with PAN card before this deadline.
Most of the complaints received above pertain to the hardship faced by the senior citizens in trying to make personal visits to the Income Tax Offices.
Further, the citizens have made a major complaint that the names as entered in Aadhar card and PAN card do not match exactly as the family details are mentioned in Aadhar cards.
Considering these hardships of the citizens in the right spirit, it seems that the central government is about to make new announcements regarding the final decision.
