The prevailing queue system for the Darshan of Lord Venkateswara at the famous Tirupathi temple is being changed from today (Friday, 4th August) for the benefit of the devotees to save time and waiting and avoid congestion in movement.
In the space available at the exit after the Darshan of the Lord on the right side of the silver door (for exit/entrance). Steps made of iron have been set up with a height of 15-20 feet leading to the place where the Prasadams or the Lord’s offerings are sold.
From today (4th August), TTD (Thirmala Tirupathi Devasthanam Board) has decided to admit the devotees through these newly constructed iron steps.
In the present system, the narrow space available near the silver door is being used for both the entering and exiting devotees causing unnecessary congestion and jostling.
The TTD officials informed that this new arrangement has been made to remove this congestion and allow 2 separate routes for the entering and exiting devotees.
