TNPSC Group-2 A written examination tomorrow (6th August)

The Group-2 A written examination, conducted by TNPSC (Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission) is scheduled tomorrow (Sunday, 6th August).

There are 1953 vacancies. Over 7.5 lakhs of graduates are writing this examination.

The vacancies for the posts of Assistants in the various departments in the Tamil Nadu state government are being filled up directly by TNPSC through the written test Group-2 A.

The candidates must be graduates. The appointments will be exclusively based on the performance in the written test. There will be no interview sessions.

TNPSC had recently made the announcement about Group-2 A written examination to fill up the vacant posts of assistants in the various state government departments including the secretariat, direct clerks in TNPSC office, stenographers and typists in the Secretariat, comprising of 1953 vacancies to be filled up.

Earlier, TNPSC had announced that the written examination will be held on 6th August throughout Tamil Nadu. Accordingly, the written test is being organised in all the districts including Chennai from 10.00 AM to 1.00 PM on Sunday, 6th August.

In the examination paper, there will be 100 questions on General knowledge and 100 questions on General English and General Tamil. So, the examinees need to answer 200 questions for a total of 300 marks.

There are no interview sessions for Group-2 A posts. So, a pass in the Group-2 A test is a guarantee for the job.
