The Unions of all the bank employees have announced that there will be 1-day strike organised throughout the country on 22nd August.
The strike on 22nd August is to be organised as a protest against the various demands including the nationalised banks being privatized.
It is informed that around 9 unions will be participating in this All India strike. Around 10 Lakh bank employees will participate.
The unions have further informed that there will be a mammoth rally in Delhi on 15th September when 10 Lakhs bank employees will participate.
As the strike is planned at All India level, there are possibilities of the banking activities being affected completely due to this strike.
