There is increasing reception for Google’s Chat app – Allo. It includes almost all the basic features like stickers, expressive messaging that allows altering the text bubble size, doodling, optional encryption of messages, etc. There are a few added features such as smart suggested replies, and you have Google Assistant to get you ‘n’ number of dad jokes! Though the app is content with several attractive features, it definitely lacks something to attract people from other messaging platforms like WhatsApp or Messenger.
Now, Allo has come up with a new feature, making it available on desktop computers. Initially, Allo app for desktop is launched only for Android users, to start with. The iOS support will soon be launched, say Allo developers. However, the timeframe for the same has no clue so far. Further, the desktop Allo app can be used only on proprietary Google Chrome browser. Of course, there are abundant Google Chrome users. Nevertheless, for those who don’t use, this Allo restriction is going to be prickly! Of course, the support on the other 3rd party browsers will soon be given, but there is no clue about specific time.
