Today, Yamaha Motor India launched Fazer25 motorcycle in India. This much-awaited bike is available for Rs 1.28 lakh at ex-showroom in Mumbai. It is likely that the on-road price will be Rs 1.3 lakh.
From Yamaha, this Fazer25 is the second release in 2017. This is the full-faired model of Yamaha’s FZ25 which is a naked motorcycle model launched a few months back this year.
This model Fazer25 functions on 249cc single cylinder that can produce up to 20 bhp and torque of 20 Nm. This engine will provide 5-speed transmission. The newly launched Fazer25 and its senior FZ25 does not have much difference apart from the complete fairing including the front end of the bike.
The two bike models have similar headlamps that are flanked with faux air intake and pilot lamps. There are angular lines for the fairing covering the sculpted fuel tank. Beyond this, the Fazer25 also has instrument cluster, 14-litre fuel tank and alloy wheels.
In spite of similar make of the FZ25, because of excessive weight, the top speed produced by Fazer25 is comparatively lesser as compared to the former. The novel design will however attract more customers towards the bike.
