Nandan Nilekani to be the CEO of Infosys

Nandan Nilekani is set to take over as the CEO of the leading infortech organisation, Infosys,
The Chairman of Infosys R. Seshasayee and the Associate President Ravi Venkatesan resigned from their posts. The Infosys Board of directors accepted the resignations.
However, it is informed that Ravi Venkatesan will continue as a director.
Further, Infosys has also accepted the resignations of Vishal Sikka and the directors Jeffrey S. Lehman and John Etchemendy.
Earlier, the Chief investors met the Infosys co-founder N. R, Narayana Murthy.
There was a discussion regarding finding the solutions for the current issues and also about the future policies.
A detailed discussion was conducted regarding the selection of the next Head of Infosys.
A majority of the investors preferred Nandan Nilekani to be the next CEO.
Subsequently, the name of Nandan Nilekani was proposed. Nandan Nilekani was the CEO of Infosys from 2002 to 2007.
The first non-founder of Infosys to assume the CEO position in Infosys, Vishal Sikka, resigned last week following some differences of opinion with co-founder Narayana Murthy.
