How to change PAN card address online?

It is really essential that in an individual or a company changes address, it should be immediately corrected in the PAN card as well.
As the address given in the PAN card is registered in the Department of Income Tax, it is the most advisable to get it corrected immediately. This can be done in a simple procedure online.
Visit the website https://tin.tin.nsdl.com/pantan/StatusTrack.html,
Click the option ‘changes or correction; in the page PAN Data Request Form.
Remember without fail to tick the option ‘update communication address’.
Important details
Fill up all the important details requiring correction (marked with a ‘*’ and select and tick the box (on the left-side of the detail) in the required places.
Fees
If the address is in India, you have to pay Rs. 105 to receive the revised PAN card ( Fee – Rs. 80 and the service charges – 12.36%).
Additional charge for using a credit card
The above fee can be paid as a DD, cheque, credit card, debit card or net banking. However, a 2% additional charge is applicable when paying through a credit card.
Receipt
Once the payment is made, the receipt will appear on the screen. You may either take a print of the same or save the receipt in your computer.
Photos
Individuals will have to affix their recent photographs and sign it across so that the signature covers the photo as well as space in the application.
Application
Once the receipt or the application with photograph and the signature is done, the single individual has to DD or cheque (for those not interested in payment online) will have to attach the copy of the present PAN card, Address, Date of Birth, with the necessary proofs to the following address:

Important: Please remember to mark on top of the envelope while mailing the detail - `APPLICATION FOR PAN CHANGE REQUEST-Acknowledgment Number`.
