Taking 375 grams of veg and fruits daily prevents heart diseases - Survey

In a recent survey, it has been established that persons who take 375 grams to 500 grams of vegetables and fruits every day help the strengthening of the heart. So, heart-related diseases including heart attacks are prevented. Thus, death won’t near the younger age group.

A research was undertaken on the subject of nutritious food items. The research was undertaken jointly by the Health Science Company in Hamilton, Canada, and the Health research experts from the McMaster University.

The survey was undertaken covering people from 18 countries including Canada and India among 1.35 Lakh persons. The details of food and diet habits of people in the age group 35-70 were taken for the research over a period of 10 years.

The survey was undertaken in both rural and urban areas. It was found that for the persons who take 375 grams to 500 grams of vegetables and fruits daily, it strengthens the heart and hence prevents heart-related diseases including heart-attack on these persons. Thus, death won’t touch the younger age group following this.

The survey finds that as compared to cooked vegetables, taking raw vegetables and fruits yield excellent benefits for better health.It is also established that pulse vegetables such as beans, peas, and black beans are excellent for both the heart and the body.

So, the doctors strongly recommend the people to include 400 grams to 800 grams of vegetables daily.
