Here is a new plan from Airtel. The plan offers its customers with data and free voice calling similar to Reliance Jio offers. It is priced Rs 399 and offers 84GB of data with validity of 84 days. Users also get free unlimited local and STD calling and the daily cap on data usage is 1 GB.
This plan is more or less the same as Reliance Jio’s Rs 399 pack where users get 1GB of 4G data per day along with unlimited voice calling to all networks with 84 days validity. Further, users can also enjoy free access to all Jio apps.

There are similar plans rolled out by Vodafone network where users get 1GB data with unlimited voice calling for 84 days at Rs 352.
Coming on to BSNL plans, with a recharge of Rs 2985, it offers unlimited voice calls as well as unlimited data with 56 days validity. This comes with daily usage limit of 1GB per day after which the speed comes down to 80 kbps. The plan is however available only for the first recharge.
It is likely that Airtel will be launching at Rs 2,500 smartphone to compete with JioPhone. Airtel is said to be in discussions in this regard with Lava and Karbonn.
