One day programme for teachers was held in Chennai

Programme was attended by 550 headmasters, principals, vice-principals and teachers representing various schools, colleges and polytechnic institutes across Tamil Nadu.
The forenoon session featured a special address by Thirukural Semmal Thiru Na Manimozhiyan, who extolled the audience with his extempore references from the Thirukkural, highlighting the teaching profession.
The keynote speakers were Thiru Raja and Bharathy Bhaskar, who spoke on Vaanga Pesalam. A vote of thanks for the forenoon session was proposed by R Senthamarai, HOD, Computer Applications. Event was presided over by A S Ganesan, vice chairman, Vinayaka Missions University and Anuradha Ganesan, director, Vinayaka Missions University. The welcome address was deleivered by J Shanmugham, principal, AVIT.
