How to link Aadhar with EPFO account?

As a number of mandates are imposed on Aadhar, linking Aadhar with PAN card has become troublesome for availing a number of welfare schemes. On the other hand, there are a number of benefits that come with mandating Aadhar card. And people are there to praise the government directives regarding Aadhar too.
 
Depositing food, fuel subsidy, getting important driving license copies, and passport copies, and for many other official activities, Aadhar has become a mandate, making things simple and easier.
 
Furthermore, linking the 12-digit Aadhar number can also ease the process of withdrawal from provident fund. So, for this, the very first and preliminary step is to obtain Universal Account Number from the employer.
 
Once you obtain UAN, get it linked with EPFO account and you can start getting all the benefits of it.
 
For those who do not know the procedure to link Aadhar with EPFO account, read on to know 
  • Open the unified web portal of Employees` Provident Fund Organization. The website URL is this - https://unifiedportal-emp.epfindia.gov.in/epfo/.
  • Feed the UAN and password upon clicking into the site
  • In the top, there is a menu bar. Here, you will find Manage option. This when clicked will open up a sub-section of KYC. In the next page, you will find Add KYC option. Feed all the needed details here including account number, PAN number, Aadhar number, etc. On feeding them, click on Submit.
  • Once submitted, your details will be displayed in Pending KYC sub section. If it is approved by your company, the same details shall be available under Approved KYC. For approval, it hardly takes 15 days after which you can find it on the Approved column
