Northeast monsoon season in Tamil Nadu set to start in 2 days

The Chennai Meteorological Centre officials have informed that there are strong prospects of the Northeast monsoon rainy season in Tamil Nadu is set to start in 2 days - 25th or 26th October.
The All India Weather Bureau has informed that this year’s Northeast monsoon rains will be between 89% to 111%, Thus the average quantum of rain can thus be expected.
In this situation, due to the formation of the thermal convection, there are prospects of rain in the next 2 days in a few places in Tamil Nadu.
The officials informed in this regard that there may medium rain today and tomorrow (Monday and Tuesday, 23rd and 24th October) in a few places in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
There may be rain with thunder in a few places in the Chennai Metro City.
