Group video calling feature on WhatsApp likely

The live location sharing feature was launched on WhatsApp last week. Following this, WhatsApp is in the verge of launching group video calls for all of its users. The app is being widely used by both Android as well as iOS users. And it is still finding its possible ways to top the list as a go-to app for all kinds of communication.
Though the group calling feature is still not wrapped up, it is likely to get rolled out in another few months. A renowned site that tests each one of the newly launched WhatsApp feature claims that mobile app would roll out group video and voice calling feature soon.
For is beta users, the new feature on WhatsApp will likely be available in the upcoming update. According to the website announcement, the 2.17.70 beta version would come with the new feature. With this, the update will also allow easy transition between phone numbers. In case a user changes the phone number, all the contacts present on the list will be notified about the change.
WhatsApp is in full swing mode to roll out new features on its app. It is also heading towards social media realm with the introduction of stories and similar other features. As there is constant increase in computational power, applications such as WhatsApp are entering the different other genres of communication.
In spite of these features like conference video and voice calls being available on a number of other platforms, the hefty count of user base with WhatsApp makes it a huge hit every time. There are over 1 billion daily active users and 1.3 billion monthly users.
Some of the other applications that offer this Live Location feature newly rolled out on WhatsApp are Messenger, Google Maps, Telegram, and so on. However, with WhatsApp adopting the same, the feature may reach wider audience.
To make use of this live location feature, click on the paperclip icon found against the chat box. With this, you can share the location as chat. This can also be shared with WhatsApp group or individual contact in your list.
You can modify the Account Privacy Settings to monitor the total number of people or groups that are accessing the live location updates you have shared. When multiple contacts have shared their live location on a WhatsApp group, you can find all of them in a single map.
