Electoral card to be issued within 48 hrs

Chief Election Commissioner V.S.Sampath I.A.S told to the chennai district election department to issue the electoral card within 48hrs of application submission.
Electoral photo identity card is now given duplicate in 15days of application submission.and this is just a trial and there some months to be waited for some families. Mr. Sampath told to the officers of particular departments like corporation and other departments officials to monitor the particular problems regarding elections and some other ratios of the electoral list.
Mr.Sampath conveyed that over the age of 18 is a normal adult franchise to vote for forming a government but in that our Tamilnadu has 4 % of above 18 yrs of voting qualification in that only 1.36% of them are in the electoral roll rest of them are absence in voting.he also directed the Corporation Commissioner to monitor the Integrated Distribution of EPIC Cards within sufficient time.
And he added to civic body that to ensure the sex ratio of females per male he conveyed the updated ratio that in Tamilnadu is 995 females per 1,000 males.However,when it comes for voting the ratio is 991 females for 1,000 males.
And the corrections in the card also to be changed within sufficient period of time.he asked the public to rectify the printing mistakes of cards.
