The National Handicapped Finance and Development Corporation (NHFDC) functions under the central department of Social Justice and Empowerment.
NHFDC provides a scholarship for 40 or more handicapped students throughout India to pursue their higher studies.
The differently-abled students who are currently studying in graduate courses, post-graduation courses, higher-level educational courses, engineering, medical, management, and Information Technology are eligible to apply for this scholarship.
An educational scholarship amount of Rs. 10 Lakhs will be given to the students pursuing higher education in India and an amount of Rs. 20 Lakhs will be given to the students pursuing their higher education abroad.
